pvlsr shows the pulse of every place — when it comes alive, who goes, and what it actually looks like tonight. Every photograph was taken on the spot by somebody who was there. And every week, a table sits you down with people who go where you go.
Why it is different

Not a claim. The server confirms the phone was inside the venue's footprint when the shutter fired. A photograph chosen from the gallery is still allowed — it simply carries a label instead of a badge, and it never becomes the face of a place.

A beat is not a heart tapped out of politeness. It is the one appreciation signal in the app and it does work: it feeds the venue's pulse, which is what the map shows somebody deciding where to go tonight.

The app recognises the place by its footprint and arms the capture button. Outside the footprint it stays dark — that is the whole guarantee.

Up to eight photographs, and for each one you choose who may see it: everybody, the venue's Circle, or only your table.

Verification answers in seconds. Verified, the pvlse joins the region's Feed and makes the venue's beacon beat on the map.

Where you actually go decides what you are offered: the tables, the people free tonight, the crews that outlast them.
Meeting people

Each week pvlsr offers a table to a few people who go to the same places you do. Three yesses and it forms: a chat, a place, an evening. If it worked, you keep the beat and the group stays.
What you control
pvlsr has no live friend map, and does not want one. Every photograph you take carries the visibility YOU choose as you take it: everybody, the venue's Circle, or just your table. And the alerts that say somebody you know is here stay off until you turn them on.
